DSIC Semi-Finalist Fellowship Winner!

This August, Mariama will represent Memunatu Magazine in the Summer Institute of Social Entrepreneurship at Brown University as part of the Dell Social Innovation Competition Semi-Finalist Fellowship. Earlier this year, Memunatu was one of 15 projects from around the world selected as Semi-Finalist Fellows.

Sponsored by Dell, the University of Texas, and Brown University, the fellowship provides 1) mentorship on the online platform Simversity, 2) a stipend for further project research, and 3) training in social entrepreneurship from industry experts and professors at the Swearer Center.

The Semi-Finalist Fellowship will continue until December 2011 and prepares promising projects to compete in the Dell Social Innovation Competition 2012.
