5 Ways You Can Support Youth on International Youth Day

Happy International Youth Day! At Memunatu Magazine we are sharing some ways that you can make a difference today and everyday, with and for youth.

  1. Volunteer with a youth-led or youth serving organization. Think about what skills you have and how they can support an organization’s mission.
  2. Amplify youth voices, online and off. Young people are leaders in their own right! Amplify youth advocates, influencers, and others working on issues that move you.
  3. Share resources. Are there blogs, books, or apps that have helped you get organized? Share them so we can all level up together!
  4. Share your story. “You can’t be what you can’t see.” Role models can be powerful–your story could help inspire someone else and help them feel seen. Share your lessons in a blog, interview, or talk.
  5. Donate to a youth cause you are passionate about. There are many verified organizations that could use your support. Find one where you feel your donation could make a difference.
