Pitch for Change- Harvard Social Enterprise Conference

This month, Memunatu was one of 10 semi-finalist teams in the Harvard Social Enterprise Conference’s Pitch for Change Competition. The SECON2013 conference, jointly run by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Harvard Business School, brings together students and practitioners interested in social entrepreneurship. Sponsored by Dell Social Innovation Challenge, Pitch for Change is the hallmark of the conference, giving student entrepreneurs from across the country an opportunity to present their business ideas in an elevator pitch competition format. Though Blizzard Nemo shut down the first day of conference events, day 2 went on  as planned and co-founder, Mariama, gave a 1-minute pitch for Memunatu in front of a panel of judges.
