Hey! My name is Vanessa dos Santos. I am a recent MA graduate of gender studies at UCL, with a background in film studies and theatre. Originally from Mozambique I have lived in New York, Berlin, Paris, London and now based in Washington D.C. I have written articles on a wide range of topics such as music, film, fashion and policy making. I’m excited to be a part of the Memunatu team as an Editorial Intern this Fall to help create more content that aims to empower and celebrate young African women.
