Hind Hassan- 2024 Editorial Council

Hind currently serves as a Manager in the Global Private Equity Practice at Salesforce. In her role, she fosters strategic alliances with leading private equity firms to advance their objectives and drive value creation. With a background in investment banking and private equity investing, she seamlessly integrates her technical and analytical expertise with relationship-building skills to craft innovative solutions for private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Hind holds a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with a minor in Arabic and Islamic Studies. Her professional journey commenced at Citigroup in the Investment Banking division, followed by a transition to private equity with Standard Chartered Private Equity. After a five-year stint in Dubai, UAE, collaborating with both Middle Eastern and global enterprises, she pursued her MBA at Chicago Booth. During her time at Booth, Hind remained active as a member of the Graduate Business Council (GBC),  a co-chair of the African American MBA Association (AAMBAA), and an admissions fellow. Now as an alumni, Hind has served on the board of the Chicago Booth Black Alumni Association (CBAA). In her duties, Hind served as Chair of CBAA’s annual Reconnect Brunch. In its first year after the pandemic, the brunch brought over 100 Black alumni together. In the following year (2022), Hind was able to increase the number of attendees by over 50%. Additionally, Hind helped bring the importance of diversity into the school’s fundraising efforts. She was selected to join the Chicago Booth Diversity & Inclusion Alumni Taskforce and in its first year helped raise $1 million towards diversity programming and scholarships.

Outside of work, Hind loves to stay active whether it’s riding her Peloton, practicing yoga as a certified and registered yoga instructor, or training for a half marathon. Hind has been fortunate to see much of the world and has traveled to over 30 countries. Her favorite places to visit is Zanzibar and of course her home country of Sudan. On relaxing days you can find her at the park with her husband, visiting her niece and nephew or watching ‘The Office’ on repeat.
