Facebook donation match #GivingTuesday

Thank you to our team and the amazing readers who make Memunatu a force for empowering girls.

We have so much to be thankful for this year. We officially welcomed our Board of Directors, created new content such as our environment issue, and even held our first all-virtual event.

With about one month left in 2021, we have some exciting plans, including recruiting for 3 new Fellowship roles and preparing for our next print edition. How can you help make an impact at Memunatu Magazine this year?

Tuesday, November 30th is #GivingTuesday. Consider donating to Memunatu Magazine as part of this global day of giving. Donations made starting at 8am EST will be matched 100% by Facebook. Only the first $2M donated on the site get matched, so contributing as close to 8am as possible would be fantastic.

Here is the link to our official fundraiser: https://www.facebook.com/donate/634089784288747/

Your donation will enable us to create a new print issue for 2022. This will include empowering stories of African girls and women. Our goal is to reach 40,000 adolescent girls. Your contribution will help with production as well as outreach to girls in both rural and urban areas.

Hope to see you bright and early on Tuesday at 8am EST!
