(CNN) Biden nominates Ketanji Brown Jackson to be first Black woman to sit on Supreme Court. US Congresswoman Frederica Wilson of Florida said she “never dreamed that, in her lifetime, would see a Black woman nominated to the Supreme Court.” On Friday, that dream was actualized: US President Joe Biden nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, setting in motion a historic confirmation process for the first Black woman to sit on the highest court in the nation.
