Welcome to the Team: Joy

Hey everyone, my name is Joy Young! I am a second year college student who is currently studying Journalism at Howard University. I am a passionate storyteller who uses both visual and written formats to create narratives about the human experience. As someone who is curious about exploring the world around them, I am interested in engaging with the wisdom that others have to share. My goal is to create a safe space where black people (especially women) can grow and see themselves in a positive light. I am so excited to inspire black girls all over the world by being a part of the Memunatu team.
