Call for Submissions: Day in the Life

What is life like for African girls and women?

Memunatu Magazine is inviting girls and young women in Africa and the diaspora to share their “Day in the life” stories.

We are looking for short stories, poems, videos, photographs, and other artwork that respond to the theme:


“Day in the Life”–what life is like for women and girls through a digital lens

Select submissions will be featured in Memunatu Magazine print and digital!

deadline:

To have your story considered, please complete the submission form by 15 November at 11:59pm ET.

some inspiration:

  • Take us through your typical day running errands, working, studying, etc.
  • Describe how you spend time with friends and family
  • Share what you like to do: cook, meditate, whatever is typical for you!
  • Tell us about a project you’re working on or something you are passionate about
