Welcome to the Team: Kelsey

Hi! My name is Kelsey Amadeo-Luyt, and I will be an Editorial Intern for Memunatu Magazine this spring. I am a sophomore at Georgetown University studying Regional and Comparative Studies with a focus on Africa and the United States. Outside of classes and Memunatu, you can find me organizing the Georgetown University Farmers’ Market and planning our annual Diplomatic Ball. Having grown up around the world, and specifically, in Mozambique, South Africa, and Kenya, I am excited to work at Memunatu this semester and learn more about girls’ empowerment in Africa!
