Bonjour! My name is Olivia Seideman and I’m a rising senior at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where I’m double majoring in Global Environmental Change and Sustainability and International Studies. At school, I’m the Vice President of Students for Environmental Action and I just studied abroad in Paris and Cairns, Australia. In Australia, I interned at the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology, Sydney, researching and writing a paper defining and conceptualizing regenerative infrastructure. When I have some free time, I enjoy eating, going to art museums, and watching movies. After graduation next year (yikes!), I hope to take a couple of years off to work and/or travel before pursuing a graduate degree and a career in either urban sustainability or development. I’m super excited to begin working as one of Memunatu’s editorial interns, as I’m very passionate about female education and empowerment and I hope to help produce engaging content that makes a difference in young girls’ lives!
